

Rhian Stoneman RVN
Head Nurse
Rhian has been with the practice since 1997 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in August 2000. She was promoted to head nurse in 2003. Her professional interests include anaesthesia, microscopy and nurse training - Rhian has successfully trained five registered veterinary nurses without gaining too many grey hairs!


Jessica Squire RVN
Cat Advocate
Jess started as a receptionist in our Morriston branch in 2000 and joined the nursing team in 2001. After gaining her animal nursing assistant certificate, she qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2010. Jess has a professional interest in feline behaviour and has rescued many cats. She has been appointed Cat Advocate within the surgery and has worked hard to ensure our practice has been awarded with an ISFM Silver award. Currently ruling her house are Flex, Ozzie Fugness.


Ffion Davies RVN
Ffion joined the practice in 2014 and has studied animal management, achieving an extended diploma in this subject. She thrives on busy days and enjoys working with the team to nurse her patients back to full health. She is also chief tea brewer and lemon drizzle cake baker. Ffion’s interests include walking her dog, showing Highland cattle and socialising with her friends in Young Farmers.


Caitlin Walters
Student Veterinary Nurse
Caitlin joined the Tawe nursing team in March 2018. She has always been a huge animal lover and has wanted to work with animals since she was very young. Outside of work Caitlin loves to travel, her favourite destination to date has been Costa Rica where she fell in love with the resident sloths. Caitlin also loves good food and trying new recipes inspired by her travels. She is the proud owner of Lily the Jack Russell and Keith the cat.


Emma Thomas
Patient Care Assistant
Before joining Tawe Veterinary Group, Emma worked at a dog rescue for nearly four years and at Campbell’s Vets for a year. She loves anything to do with animals, especially dogs. Her hobbies are watching rugby, tennis and Formula 1. She spends a lot of time walking with her two Jack Russell girls. Emma enjoys walking along the coast, exploring and socialising with friends.


Nichola Williams
Patient Care Assistant
Nichola first started working at Tawe Veterinary Group as a receptionist back in 2012-2014. She then had the opportunity to become a nursing assistant in Alpha Vets where she worked for five years. Then in 2019, Nichola had the opportunity to come back to Tawe as a patient care assistant. Nichola enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Jessie and Tibbs & Gwen the cats.
